- Best thing I ever did was to buy a new home in a tract back in the beginning of the real estate bubble, do hardly any upgrades, stage the home and do basic landscaping. Watch everyone else spend a fortune doing, upgrades, pools, etc., and have hardly anything left in equity. I was watching people use there home as an ATM machine, and tell me how much there home is worth with no sense of reality. So many people believed it could never come down I knew the famous herd mentalily of economics was now in play. Be careful follow basic investment advice do not live over your budget, and never try to keep up with the Jones.
- I saw the burst coming to the day, it was hard to leave, beautiful Dos Vientos, but I had to move my investment vehicle to another growth area. Watch your back, capital preservation is harder then making the money it seems. When someone tells me they want to buy stocks I know they have extra money to burn. They really do not know what to do with it properly, so let's go gamble it away in the stock market. Buy a piece of paper and hope it goes up big, time and time again the stock goes down and there goes our money. I would rather see, feel, smell and touch my investment money so no matter where the real estate market goes if you have a good secure job and are comfortable with the bills buy it. You got to live some where and enjoy the life ride. Or else buy art, invest in your own business venture or other hard assets.
- Each day a new financial bomb hits the newswires, and each day the media tells us about how this will either be the bottom or the worst is yet to come. Back and forth, you can actually see and feel tops and bottoms like in the stock bubble of 2001. We are not done correcting in real estate my opinion only, but careful evaluation shows me this.
- I still talk to bozo sellers that there home is so different then the rest and they should get 2004 prices, please get real, your home is not better or different. Price will sell the home, not my you know what, does not stink.
- I believe in green energy all the way to save our world from pollution, but now if oil goes really low per barrel you will see all the alternative energy companies get hit hard, that is sad. They will say why should I invest in that when oil is now 50 dollars per barrel, because nucklehead you should worry about your world.
- I particularly like the Danish trash system you can bring vitually any type of trash to the kommune as they call it for free and as many times as you want. What a great idea, no cost except you transporting it and taking it out of your trailer or car. Many people do not know where, when and how to get rid of so much of the trash we generate. Plus they take all off your yard trimmings and convert it into yard mulch and compost. The best part is you can bring a truck in and get all of the compost and mulch they make for free for your yard, WOW!
- How about taking all that paper and wood trash and turning it into bio-fuel, to heat your home and office, nearly 100% pollution free, it is now and in place in Denmark. They want the entire country to be reliant on all differnet alternative energy sources in the coming years, they are concerned and actively pursuing these matters. Go Denmark.

- What a great stock market rally it was really exciting big bucks were to be made had you bought on Friday and even through the day, vitutally everything was a good bet. Amazing Europe came up with much more bailout money then the USA. Gold down, dollar takes a hit as the appetite for risky assets and quick but never certain returns came back in vogue.
